Description of the project:

The aim of the development is the technological modernization of quality control for bent tubes, thereby adapting to customer expectations, retaining existing jobs, and gaining new work opportunities. Additionally, the project aims to reduce the time and costs associated with operations.

As part of the funding, the acquisition of 1 unit of AICON P16 TUBEINSPECT measuring machine is planned.

Components of the TubeInspect P16 type tube measuring machine include: TubeInspect adapter for pipes, calibration standard, BendingStudio Tube measurement software, CADwizard add-on, and a computer.

The equipment operates with 16 units of high-resolution optical cameras with 3 megapixels.

Measuring range of the equipment: 2600 x 1250 x 700 mm

Measurable pipe diameter: ø 3 - 200 mm

Max. measurable pipe length: arbitrary, as it can be moved step by step through the two side doors and measured with the equipment by repositioning the pipe to be measured in this way.

Measurable bending range: 1 - 340˚

Bent pipes and free-form shapes can be measured during bending.

Measurement accuracy: 0.085 mm (1 σ).
